Abstract

The collective monograph focuses on the question of the relations of T. G.

Masaryk to Slavic ideology and to individual Slavic nations. The publication features a total of 26 original studies by historians from 9 different countries.

It includes detailed outlines of Masaryk's contact with the Russians, Ukrainians, Poles, Slovakians, the people of the former Yugoslavia, and the Bulgarians. The monograph also puts particular emphasis on the shift and transformation in the perception and evaluation of T.

G. Masaryk in the individual Slavic states.
