Abstrakt
The paper outlined in three points the basic features of Arthur C. Danto’s hypothesis on ‘the end of art’ with special reference to its Hegelian background.
In the second part the author pointed out how different Patočka’s interpretation of Hegel’s thesis about art is. Special attention was paid to Patočka's treatment of the concept of the aesthetic attitude.
