Saint Gregory of Narek: Theology, Motifs and Imagery in His Work

Abstract

In the present study we have striven to identify the principal motifs and images that permeate the works of St. Gregory of Narek as well as presenting the salient theological streams that underlie it.

In addition, we have endeavoured to pinpoint the most probable sources that may have nourished the author’s imagination.
