Radek Kratina – A Retrospective at last

Publication |
2013

Abstract

The study focuses on the first complex retrospective artwork by Radek Kratina (1928-1999). It was presented by The City Gallery of Prague in the House at the Stone Bell by curator authorship of Hana Larvová.

Radek Kartina, one of the distinct characters in the home after-war art development, began his art career in 1950s in the time of informel and geometry abstraction and his individual contribution was in introducing changeable added shape systems. He is the representative of kinetic arts and the pioneer of generative arts as well.
