Abstract

NTK conducts investigations in the Aleph system files that are archived in the OPAC search. The analysis focused questions on the possible content of subject descriptors.

The results provide feedback to the factual description (Polythematic Structured Subject Heading) and acquisition. Also refined the concepts of user behavior in the OPAC.

Despite the existence of tools for communication between the library and the user (e-mail, ICQ, social networking, but also surveys and questionnaires) NTL considers this method, falling into the category bibliominingu, significant and accurate. The possibility of similar ongoing investigation by significantly improved the function of the library software. the performance is technical solutions, methods of analysis and feedback.
