Abstrakt
This study traces back the evolution of Russo-Georgian relations in the context of the Abkhazia conflict, illustrating that mounting disagreement between Moscow and Tbilisi significantly hampered - if not halted entirely - mechanisms of conflict resolution between Tbilisi and its former autonomous province.
