The Individual as a Phenomenological Problem in Hannah Arendt and Michel Henry

Abstract

The article compares two phenomenological projects, the political thinking of Hannah Arendt and the material phenomenology of Michel Henry, and outlines the consequences of the privileged position of an individual subject, found in both projects.
