Abstract
Differential diagnosis between cardiac restriction and constriction is still one of the challenging topics in cardiology. The difficulty is the common clinical and hemodynamic features.
Moreover, the correct discrimination is crucial, because they have different treatment and potential mistake may be harmful. The article summarizes differences between these clinical and haemodynamic states with special focus on echocardiography and cardiac catheterization.
