Abstract
In people with diabetes is strikingly high prevalence of many diseases within the competence of psychiatry. Most striking is the cumulation with dementia on the one hand and depressive states on the other.
Although etiopathogenetic context are still the subject of research, in terms of clinical practice, these co-morbidities come in a number of developed countries to the center of attention, both in terms of diabetology and psychiatry. New editions of the publication of Diabetes Current is aimed precisely at this interface between the two disciplines, both in terms of diagnosis and drug therapy.
