Abstract
This international conference since 1994, brings together researchers from France and especially the new EU states - Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Czech. The conference was not attended by professionals from other countries, such as Estonia, Romania, Belgium and Australia.
The conference was attended by more than a hundred participants. In seven sections resolved several dozen lectures by leading experts on the various aspects of cardiovascular research (from the molecular mechanisms of cardiovascular disease after diagnosis and clinical follow-up).
More than 50 communications were presented as posters. The conference was held under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové and traditionally also under the auspices and with the financial support of the French institution INSERM (Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale).
The organization of the conference was also supported by a grant from the Visegrad Fund.
