Abstract
The text of the article is focused on the use of mediation in criminal justice. Article describes status of mediation in criminal justice in the Czech Republic and the role of the Probation and Mediation Service.
It is based on the specifics of the mediation activities which are focused on work with juvenile offenders. It represents the possibility of using the outputs of mediation in other activities.
That means: probation programs, family group conferences and storing educational measures and sentencing.
