Localization of gamma-tubulin in interphase and mitotic cells of a unicellular eukaryote, Girardia intestinalis.

Abstract

Using monoclonal antibodies we investigated occurence and distribution of gamma-tubulin in interphase and mitotic cells of Girardia intestinalis. The demonstration shows ubiquity of this protein through the evolution of Eucaryotes.
