Abstrakt

In this study, local mucosal perfusion did not reflect total splanchnic blood flow and vice versa. Increasing mucosal arterial PCO2 gradient and splanchnic oxygen extraction may reflect a mismatch between splanchnic perfusion and metabolic demands.
