The influence of prophylactic administration of antibiotics on lung infection and on development of organ dysfunction in chest trauma patients

Abstract

Retrospective analyse of the ICU database of the chest trauma patients demonstrated possible adverse effect of long term prophylactic antibiotic administration on the incidence of lung infection and on the development of organ failure.
