Chloroplast complementation and its possibilities for prediction of heterosis in maize

Abstrakt

The existence of complementation effect in the mixtures of parental chloroplasts of maize was demonstrated and its possibility for in vitro prediction of heterosis in F1 generation of hybrids was tested.
