The influence of folate and antioxidants on Homocysteine levels and oxidative stress in patients with hyperlipidemia and hyperhomocysteinemia

Abstrakt

Tolate supplementation caused decrease of plasma homocysteine and improved antioxidant status. Supplementation with antioxidants did not influence homocysteine level and had no additive effect with folate.
