Abstract
Oxygen is frequently used in newborns, inappropriate use leading to hyperoxia brings a considerable health risk. On the basis of knowledge on physiologic oxemia in term newborns after birth and actual hemoglobine saturation is possible to limit oxygen use during delivery room resuscitation.
