Expression of choline acetyltransferase and muscarinic M2 receptors in heart atria of rat strain Sprague-Dawley and Lewis

Abstract

The aim was study of mRNA expression of CHAT and M2 receptors in two rat strains,Sprague -Dawley and Lewis. Unlike the expression of M2 receptors where are no differences between right and left atria in both rat strains, the expression ofCHAT reveal large differences between left and right atria.
