Abstract
The chapter addresses security and strategic culture of NATO as one of the main actors of international security. The author analyses strategic documents and security concepts which define the role of NATO in the actual international security context.
The main aim is to demonstrate how NATO has moved from being organization for colective defence to much larger role of global security player.
