Abstract
Chapter addresses the question how the European and foreign policy have been defined in the last ten years. The author tries to demonstrate the inability of Czech political elites to think strategically which in the end has led to a serious systematic problem.
On the other hand the author suggests several possible solutions how to improve position of the Czech republic in the European Union and on the international scene.
