Coal and wood burning as main cause of particulate pollution in a rural area

Abstrakt

Measurements of PM10 and Black Smoke revealed that during winter most of aerosol pollution in small willages has its origin in burning coal, wood and domestic waste. The concentrations of pollutants frequently exceeded those of larger cities.
