The communicative approach strategy - an example of the phenomenon of misunderstanding

Abstract

The description of the experiment which focused on investigating pupil's combinatorial thinking has been analysed to determine whether a communicative approach was used. The beginning researcher tried to carry out the experiment using a communicative approach and the problems that were met revealed the difficulties this approach raised.
