Historical roots and contemporary trends of pre-primary education and teacher education

Abstract

Changing context in pre-primary education needs higher status of pre-school teacher training. Move from secondary vocation level to tertialy level (university or non-university) would provide more oportunies for students to broaden their professional competences and deepen their specialisation.
