Groundwater pollution modeling within the Middle Turonian aquifer near Mimoň water supply area, Northern Bohemia

Abstract

Groundwater in a Turonian aquifer has been polluted by underground leaching of uranium ore. Spreading of the polluted cloud has been modeled by the Mike SHE software (3D deterministic model) until the year 2013.

Several scenarios are discussed.
