Prospective Study of Hippocampal Volume and Function in Human Subjects Treated with Corticosteroids

Abstract

We did not find macroscopic changes in hippocampal volume during treatment with corticosteroids. We cannot, however, rule out microscopic changes leading to decline in hippocampus mediated memory functions.
