Abstract
Increasing attention is being paid to the possibility of applying chemopreventive agents for the protection of individuals from cancer risk. However, the predicted chemopreventive potential is not frequently attained in respect of cancer prevention; moreover, the administration of high doses of chemopreventive compounds might be even detrimental for the human health.
