Phosphinoferrocenyl Carboxamides Bearing Glycine Pendant Groups : Synthesis, Palladium(II) Complexes, and Catalytic Use in Polar and Aqueous Reaction Media

Abstract

A series of phosphinoferrocene carboxamides was prepared from 1'-(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene-1-carboxylic acid and glycine. The amides were structurally characterized and utilized as ligands in palladium complexes and for palladium-catalyzed reactions.
