Synthetic hydrogel capacity to induce formation of foreign-body giant multinucleate cells differ in vivo and in vitro

Abstract

This study comparises capacity of nematodes and synthetic hydrogels to induce the granulomatous reaction in vitro and in vivo. The results showed that testing in animal model can not be replaced by the in vitro experiment.
