Abundance and distribution of tadpoles (Rana temporaria) and larvae of Triturus alpestris in two pools in the Šumava Mts. (Western Bohemia).

Abstract

The article describes and evaluates the population dynamics of two protected species of amphibians in the central part of NP (PLA) Šumava. Based on the experiment is to evaluate the chances of survival of endangered amphibian species in situ, with emphasis on their potential protection.
