Anthropogenic slope deformations originating on the side slope of the giant open-pit coal mine ČSA in the North Bohemian brown coal basin, Czech Republic, was analyzed. On the basis of the author's systematic field documentation of slope deformations the side slope is divided into quasihomogeneous units according to behavior of the rock massif.
Assessment of factors and conditions influencing dangerous geodynamic phenomena of future lakes of residual mining pits in the North Bohemian brown coal basin was realized.
