Abstract
The contribution compares main issues of legal regulation of motherhood and fatherhood in Czech, Slovak and Polish laws. Firstly, general questions and historical connections are mentioned.
The article describes motherhood and fatherhood in states mentioned above separately. As an outcome, the authors share the opinion that legal regulation of motherhood and fatherhood in these states has never moved from each other.
