Abstract

The authors describe in their paper one of the less frequent ileus acute abdominal events in adult age--invagination. At the same time they comment also on the rare cause of invagination, a leiomyosarcoma of the small intestine.

In the discussion they mention the relationship of this tumour to gastrointestinal stromal tumours.
