Abstract
The main goal of this contribution is to briefly summarize main current features of international migration issues in the Czech Republic. It tackles aspects be it directly or indirectly closely tied to economic development of the country – namely, demographic development in relation to the „replacement migration“ concept, the labour market and its saturation by a foreign labour force and irregular/illegal migrants and their irregular economic activities.
