Abstract
Paper presents partial results of project studying land cover heterogeneity changes in the Czech Republic with emphasis on evolution in the past 20 years. Basic methodological approaches and the possibility of data sources and its processing are presented as well.
Causes of land cover changes and their impact on the landscape structure are briefly discussed.
