Abstract
The Final Report of the Ministry of the Environment Ref. No.
MŽP SL/7/102/05 on the Research and Development Project „Wastes from Municipalities – Environmental and Social Problem of the Future“ includes the factual and methodological aspect of the solution, and the assessment of the state and trends of the waste management system in municipalities in the Czech Republic. This introductory analysis has established eight subsystems being investigated more detailed regarding to the past development in order to describe its representative characteristics, it means the properties attaining the most significant time changes and the relevant factors effecting these changes
