Abstract
The objective of the article is to point out the new processes in second housing both in a general European level and to demonstrate with a case of Czechia and more in detail with a case study conducted in a recreational resort Harrachov in a specific “recreational village” Marina at the Lipno reservoir. The methods were based on a detailed field survey, structured interviews and questionnaires.
