Rare intermetallic mineral cuprostibite was found in a mine dump of shaft No. 16 (Háje near Příbram), the Příbram uranium - base metal ore district, central Bohemia (Czech Republic). Cuprostibite forms there irregular to spherical aggregates up to 0.5 mm in size with metallic lustre in calcite gangue.
Clausthalite with variable copper contents, chalcocite, tetrahedrite, silver and supergene partzite were determined in close association with cuprostibite and data for their chemical composition are given.
