The contribution provides the ecomorphological evaluation of the Košínský brook, the main source of the water reservoir Jordán in Tábor. The Košínský brook water basin is extensively used for agricultural purposes.
The rivers transport nutrients to Jordán reservoir which causes euthrofication in summer months. The main reason for the ecohydrological research of the Košínský brook was to identify two types of reaches: those in bad hydromorphological condition with great input of nutrients and substances into the river and those ones in good ecohydromorphological condition with the ability to retain unwanted substances.
The evaluation is based on field mapping and on processing thematic GIS layers and maps.
