Fish in brown waters of the Jizera Mountains or Recovery of reservoirs in the Jizera Mountains from acidification

Abstract

The article describes the effects of anthropogenic acidification on water ecosystems, specific aspects of acidification on the territory of the Jizera Mountains (Northern Bohemia, Czech Republic), and mechanisms of successful reintroduction of fish into the waters of the upper plateau of these mountains.
