The implementation of defence/military policy in the Czech Republic : little stability of governance and unsuitable management concept

Abstract

The article deals with persistent problems of Czech military policy within 1993-2009, its achievements and failures. A new managerial concept, system planning, programming and budgeting, which superseded a communist central control, was not implemented fully because of governance instability.
