The relationship of the expression of mismatch repair (MLH1, MSH2) proteins to colonic adenomas

Abstract

Mismatch repair gene defects are present in approximately 10-15 % of sporadic cancers. This work is concerned with this findings in the sporadic adenomas of the large bowel because there is only few data about it in the literature.

Using imunohistochemical methods, an analysis of MLH1 and MSH2 protein detection was carried out in relation to specific parameters of colorectal adenomas.
