Analysis of Risk Aras of Ninth-form Pupils

Abstract

The objective of the investigation was to assess the complex of problems in the ten most important spheres of life in ninth-form pupils. The group was formedby 200 boys and girls from four schools.

To obtain the data Tarters screening questionnaire DUSI(Drug Use Screening Inventory) was used which makes it possible to identify problems in the life of youth. The results of the investigation revealed that in children of the investigated group the most risky spheres are behaviour, social fitness and men tal health.

The recorded incidence of different addictions is alarming. Among the most frequently mentioned additive substances used in the course of the last 30 daysare alcohol, tobacco and painsuppressing drugs.

It is of interest that on comparison of different schools in small communities a higher percentage of respondents with problem behaviour was found.
