Abstract
Survey of tasks, which should be fulfilled by nurses in the new millennium. First of all to build up a good self-confidence based on a wide and high-quality education, on the ability to think in a scientific manner and to take part in scientific projects.
It will be necessary to learn how to enter societal debate and to put through own position in the society, adequate to demandingness of the profession.
