Objectivization of Chest Injuries and Associated Injuries by the Abbreviated Injury Scale and New Injury Severity Score

Abstract

This study is focused on objectivization of the severity of chest injuries and associated injuries using the Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) and New Injury Severity Score (NISS). There were evaluated injuries detected on post-mortem examination in subjects who died from the sequelae of injuries in the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady in Prague.
