Abstract

The article focuses on social and professional identification of young physicians, who graduated in the 1990's. It describes the cultural changes as reflected in the foreign literature that have an impact on increasing dissatisfaction of physicians with the conditions of their professional performance.

The article provides with original empirical outocomes that document a high share of respondents who would not repeat again their professioanal choice with their today's experience. The professional satisfaction as well the professinal identification are both slightly influenced by the medical family tradition
