Abstract

A simple amperometric detector was tested for the HPLC determination of 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) as the biomarker of in vivo oxidative DNA damage. The limit of detection was found to be 9.8 nmmol 8-OHdG/L sample injected.

The level of 8-OHdG was determined after SPE extraction of urine sample.
