Practical experience with management of patients infected or colonized with methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)

Abstract
Clinical study was carried out since 1.1.2004-31.8.2005 in patients treated at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Bulovka University Hospital in Prague. The aim of the study was to present the range of diseases caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and to assess the efficacy of procedures likely to cure MRSA infections and possibly to eradicate colonization.
