Abstract
Fixed bite plane is an effective orthodontic appliance ušed to raise the bite, especially when combined with the full fixed orthodontic appliance and the straight-wire technique. The appliances are usually criticized for the discomfort they bring to patients and for the worsened oral hygieně.
By means ofa questionnaire we obtained useful Information on patients' adaptation to fixed bite plane, and we described the problems that accompany this type of therapy
