Development of the chick pancreas with regard to estimation of the relative occurrence and growth of endocrine tissue

Abstrakt

Publication describes development of endocrine tissue in pancreas using morphometric analysis. Volume density for insulin, glucagon, and somatostatin was established on individual embryonic stages allowing estimation of growth tendency for every above mentioned hormone
