Barrett's esophagus - an ideal model for carcinogenesis?

Abstract

Follow-up of Barrett's esophagus as a praecencerous lesion is inadequte for methods and goals which are not proved. But,it looks useful for investigation of new diagnostic, epidemiologic and therapeutic options for discovery of developing cancer from benign lesion
